The Israeli Wedding Rings Adventure

Josh was a traveler. He loved the thrill of the unknown, of exploring new places, of flying high in the sky or long, drawn out road trips. He had been to so many places – Niagara Falls, the Canadian Rockies, the Grand Canyon, Disney world, Disney Land, Mount Rushmore, and more. From the north to the south and from the east to the west and almost everywhere in between, Josh had almost seen it all. But he had never been outside of North America. Large and expansive as it is, the world has got to be a whole lot bigger than just North America, no?
Israeli Wedding RingsJosh decided it was time for him to expand his traveling repertoire. He did lots of research in deciding where to visit first. It just so happened that Josh was engaged to be married. He knew his fiancĂ©, Linda, was in to Israeli wedding rings. From the time she was a young girl, Linda loved to look at magazines and advertisements featuring Hebrew engraved rings. She dreamed of getting married and having one of those Israeli wedding rings around her finger. And she liked the idea of her wedding ring coming from Israel even more. Josh realized that if he’s thinking of traveling out of North America, his first stop has got to be Israel. And his first stop in Israel has got to be a jewelry store selling Israeli wedding rings.
So, several calls to the travel agency and a few hours of packing later, Josh was off to the airport. He couldn’t believe he had done so much traveling in his life, yet never stepped foot out of North America! The thrill was so exciting, he could hardly sit still. He did dose off a little bit on the very long flight, and he dreamed of Israeli wedding rings.
When the plane landed, everybody clapped. That doesn’t happen when you arrive in Disney Land, Josh thought to himself. This place is special.
After he checked in to his hotel, he realized that he had forgotten to find out which store to go to purchase the special wedding ring for Linda! He needn’t worry, though. At the front desk, they were able to give him several names of several stores that sell Hebrew engraved rings.
Josh woke up the next morning full of excitement. Today was Israeli wedding rings shopping day! He started off to the first store on his list. He took the Jerusalem light rail, and loved the modern look and feel of it. He got off at the appointed stop and walked right into the jewelry store. “Do you sell Israeli wedding rings?” he inquired. He was told that they do. He picked out the finest one, paid for it, and left the store feeling giddy like a child. He could not wait to get home and show Linda her dream ring!
A few months later, standing under the wedding canopy, Linda truly felt like a queen. And when Josh slipped the Israeli wedding ring onto her finger, her dream had come true. It was almost too good to be true. But it was good, and it was true.
